Eco Friendly Lake Residence

When Joe and Andrea Nemechek wanted a custom home crafted from the ground up with nature in mind, they went to the company they knew they could trust to keep it green. For this home, the second we have crafted for the couple, we went the extra mile to make their dream of an eco-friendly yet beautiful home come to life. As the pictures reveal, we did not skimp on style while including energy saving features such as Icynene insulation, a geothermal heating system, and energy star windows and appliances. Some of the more custom touches include locally made, formaldehyde-free alder cabinets throughout and custom-made cedar tables crafted from the recycled wood of left over ceiling beams. The kitchen and baths all have concrete and natural stone countertops and showers. All main living spaces are on the main floor, with plenty of room for guests on the lower level. Outside is a large sunroom, a half-court basketball area, a swimming pool and a children’s play yard.
